New radio DJ -- why?
04.21.04 (10:17 am) [edit]My favorite radio station in LA Arrow 93.1 just changed their morning DJ from Uncle Joe Benson to this jackass Jonathan Brandmeier (a.k.a. Johnny B).
First off, Uncle Joe used to play mostly music and when he did talk, he said things that were interesting: facts about bands, news about concerts, etc. Johnny B should be on the Ryan Seacrest show -- he talks about nothing, uses sound effects, and pulls this half-assed Seinfeld thing where everything anyone says has to be met with a, "What is up with that?"
I'm so depressed. Now I have to listen to CDs on the way to work.

johnny b is a bad memory from my childhood growing up in chicago, when he polluted the city airwaves with inanity. i was unaware that the shite was still "broadcasting", if you can call it that...i'm just really sorry about this...

In Minnesota, we have B96 with Tony FLY... He used to be on the other popular channel but now he is on the hiphop and r&b channel, i can dig it

Talk radio at its finest. Johnny B is Hilarious. Comedy and kep me wanting more laughs. Can we hear him on the net???? Im in Chicago and would love to listen to one the greatest again

Obviously the author of the originator of this thread has been listening to too much classic rock and been out in the sun way too long. America has lost it's sense of humor, the more we hear from guys like Jonny B the better off we will be.
